Almost Wordless Wednesday: The Disney Weenie
No, I’m not talking about the hotdogs you can find in the Disney parks, although they are pretty delicious! The “weenie” we’re focusing on this week is that visual icon in every park that draws you in and gives you that “I’m here!” feeling. Since I frequent Disneyland the most, it’s NOT Sleeping Beauty castle that gets me. Instead it’s the mountain that towers over the castle (it’s almost twice as tall) – Matterhorn Mountain.
Unfortunately, the mountain has been undergoing an extensive refurb both inside and out and for some reason I could ONLY find a construction picture taken on our trip in January. A new scaffolding-free pic is on my list for our August trip for sure, although it is kinda cool to see all those orange-vested construction workers crawling all over the mountain
