About Me

Hi there,

I’m Holly, a Disney fan (some say “fanatic”) living in Colorado. During the day, I work full-time as a Product Marketing Manager for a software company, but I am VERY lucky and work at home, so am able to keep a close eye on my two busy kids and wonderful husband. I’m an entertainment and pop culture junkie, keeping up with movies, music and books whenever I can. You’ll often hear me quoting some movie from the 80s or 90s, and I wear my status as a “geek” proudly.

My geekiness and love of pop culture has grown into a passion for all things Disney and I particularly love learning about the history and detail that is put into everything Disney does. I count Walt Disney as one of my heroes and really admire his perserverence in making his dreams come true.

While we live in one of the most beautiful states in the country and have plenty of activities to keep us busy right in our own backyards, I haven’t found anything that beats a Disney vacation for getting away from my workaholic ways so I am almost always busy planning our next Disney vacation. We are DVC members and own at both Grand Californian and Aulani, so are often found at Disneyland, but also find time to visit Walt Disney World and take the occasional Disney cruise.

I’m always looking for new vacation ideas and love sharing my experiences and passion for Disney with others, so want to welcome you to my little corner of the Disney community and hope you’ll stop by often!

Colorado Dad – Married to Disney Fan since 1998, Colorado Dad knew he was in trouble when his honeymoon to Walt Disney World was planned without much input from him. Since then, he’s learned to love Disney (almost) as much as Disney Fan.

Colorado Boy – Our first born, first visited Disneyland when he was 3. Colorado Boy loves trains, Legos, Pirates of the Caribbean, Harry Potter and the color orange. Lucky for Disney Fan he also still loves to visit Disney whenever he can.

Colorado Princess – Our dear daughter, who is almost 3. Colorado Princess had her first kiss from Mickey when she was 1 and has since moved on to princess status. Her favorite is Belle, but she loves to visit with all of them whenever she gets a chance.
